Job Description:
Monarch Bay Renovations is seeking a skilled Trim Carpenter to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a Trim Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing various carpentry tasks related to the interior of buildings, including painting, demolition, cabinet installation, window installation, trim work, and door installation. Your expertise and attention to detail will contribute to the successful completion of our clients’ home remodeling projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of interior trim carpentry, including painting, drywall install and finishing, demo, cabinet installation, window installation, trim work, and door installation.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials to construct or repair structures as per project requirements.
- Install and fit doors, windows, cabinets, and molding, ensuring precision and alignment.
- Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, priming, and applying finishes.
- Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any carpentry-related issues that may arise during projects.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and techniques to ensure the delivery of high-quality work.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Trim Carpenter or similar role, with expertise in interior carpentry and finishing work.
- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment, including saws, drills, sanders, and measuring tools.
- Strong knowledge of different types of wood and materials used in carpentry.
- Excellent carpentry skills, including accurate measuring, cutting, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on craftsmanship and quality.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform tasks that require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
